I had an ‘87 Corvette and a friend of mine had an ‘87 Grand National. Every time we raced I kicked his ass. When I got a transfer to a different city I explained to him why he could never beat me. I only raced him on hot days and picked roads that had at least one nice curve. His intercooler was less efficient on hot days. And even if he did start gaining on me….curve. Grand Nationals don’t like curves.
