Lol. I was in the same boat some years back when I was a younger man. Nothing would turn me off to a car more than seeing that it was an automatic and a convertible (trucks are also a complete pass/deal breaker in any form). While I've gotten over the automatic part, a convertible is still a 100% deal breaker for me and I'll never own a truck.
But if it makes you guys feel better, both of my 1LE's were manual transmission cars. But now I value sheer metrics over perceived driver engagement. I feel just as engaged driving my DCT cars as I ever did driving my manual transmission cars.
Different strokes, different folks. But back to my point, I'd still get a 1LE of any trim Camaro before I got a standard model.
