The Michelin PS A/S 3+ is no longer made. The replacement version is the A/S 4. Wife's CTS AWD had a set of 3+'s and one got a bead separation, probably due to a pothole (245/40-18's, not much sidewall). They only had 20k on them. Called the Michelin cust supp # to ask if the 4's would be a direct replacement for the ONE tire, they said you had to at least replace as pair. When I mentioned it was AWD, they said the whole set had to be replaced. The damaged tire was replaced free with our road hazard plan through Belle Tire, but that meant 3 new tires that were essentially ok had to be trashed. Michelin opened a "case" for me (at their offering!) and pro-rated the 3 good tires and gave me a credit for them! Ended up paying $500 out the door at Belle Tire for a whole new set of A/S 4's. Would have been less but I re-upped on the road hazard insurance too (used it twice on the A/S 3+ set, so it paid for itself in the end!).

I'm currently running a set of NEXEN AU7's that came with the wheels I bought, but I'm looking at a set of PS 4s's as a 3-season tire. I store in winter so I really only need a "wet" and "down to 35-degree" tire, which a few folks here swear the PS 4s's are perfect for.
