Not close to an expert or anything, nor having gotten into this car's stereo, but it seems like if you want to add a sub', it's not difficult, as there are kits out there. They're just really expensive, IMO. Then - if you want to start replacing speakers - it gets more expensive because of EQs and processors, and the necessary electronics to get into the OEM system and manipulate the raw channels, and all that. Then there's the chip shortage that eliminated some of the aftermarket equipment to integrate into the OEM system, and it just feels like stereos cost as much as adding horsetorques to the car.
I'm not suggesting it can't be done - it's just super expensive. And it can be done well. I already have what I need to add a sub', but I never listen to the radio anyways, as already pointed out in this thread, lol.
