I honestly don't expect them to discontinue the 2650 as it will suit 99%+ of people. To fully utilize the 2650 you already need to build the engine and fully build the fuel system with port injection. The only thing that has made me doubt that theory is looking at the pricing listed on Harrop's site. Granted, it's in AUS, there is less than a $1k difference between their 2650 and 3100 offerings for our car. If I was buying something, I certainly wouldn't get the lesser of the two for that small of a difference.
Maybe, but if you are just wanting to get rid of your Lt4 and are just staying pretty much stock the 2650 will still be the best route for a stock Lt1 or Lt4.
