Need a trust worthy place to repair I think.
I had the wiring harness replaced on mine. If I remember correctly the harness cost about 550 dollars and 8 hours labor or so to replace it so roughly 1500 dollars all in. I did this because the GM dealer in their infinite wisdom decided to repair the harness when they replaced my engine under warranty. That REPAIRED harness lasted about a year before I started having intermittent problems which all went away when the harness was replaced entirely. When it the original engine it burned some of the wires on the engine harness and THOSE were the ones that the dealer repaired. ALL of these wires on the FACTORY harness are color coded but the replacement wirring that is used to REPAIR the harness IS NOT color coded.

To do the job correctly you have to pull the front bumper off to replace the entire harness because the ambient air temperature sensor that controls your AC/HEATING system is inaccessible otherwise.

There are literally hundreds of wires in that harness all color coded.
