My understanding is the OE ZL1 1LE 19's have a knurled bead.
The tires were mounted 2 months prior to being used, so the lube wasn't fresh. But there was a lot of it. I can talk to my installer about using less.
I have had the same result, however, with 3 different tire installers. Maybe they're all using too much lube. Who knows.
