Could it be that some sanity has crept in and GM realized they needed an affordable vehicle? And an ICE no less. The climate alarmists must be triggered into a frenzy of dis-belief seeing GM's claim of going all electric....and now this.
It's good news for the vast majority who can't afford EVs and need some affordable transportation. But as others have said, they probably won't be able to make enough of them....Hell, can they make enough of any model, EV or ICE?

Agreed. Even Chevrolet, with all of the EV talk, knew that they could not survive without ICE vehicles. EVs cannot replace the efficiency and ease of operation of ICE. I don't think ICE will ever have a replacement; If it does it won't be in the near future. Think of a century or more.
