My thoughts are that the LT4 tensioner was designed for 8 ribs and when you use it on 10 ribs the tensioner per rib is less, leading to unsatisfactory performance at top level blower speeds. The LT5 was designed for 11 ribs so it should rock and roll on a 10 rib belt.
So the lt4 tensioner with a wider puller on it will not work? I haven't had any slip issues yet but I'm planning on giving the wife my motor for her ss and building her block for me. Try to make the 1200 plus.

How much was the tensioner bracket?
