Oh boy, brace yourself for my adventure. See time line below. In short, ordered a 2022 ZL1, it ended up being one of the 5 stolen and wrecked May 2nd from the Lansing Grand River plant. Had to get 2023 ZL1 since 2022's were ramping down production. FINALLY showed up September 6th.
March 18th: Allocation given and order accepted for the 2022 ZL1
April 11th: Went into production
April 16th: Vehicle was produced. ETA to dealer was May 23rd
May 2nd: Notified by my dealer the car was stolen and wrecked(have a pic of the news article showing my car in the ditch/wrecked)
May 23rd: Order for the replacement 2023 ZL1 accepted by GM
June 20th: Went into production
July 12th: Vehicle produced. ETA to dealer was August 8th
September 6th: FINALLY delivered to dealership.
