I paid $69,000 in July 2017 which was about 5% below MSRP before taxes (7% Palm Beach County) and tag and fees ($300ish) which brought it back to within a few hundred of MSRP out the door. Given that there were only five ZL1 verts available nationwide in G7C at the time I was happy with that. Not all dealers wanted to deal; I did hear "I know what I got" once.
I see today's market for all V8 Camaros even more of a seller's market than what I found hunting for
The Mistress, so you'll be lucky to get anything anywhere close to MSRP. Automotive supply will be short at least another year, and by then we'll be lucky if Camaros are still being produced.
If you see an opportunity, take it.
