They don't work on automatic cars. The afm valve section of the pipe is a slightly different angle then the manual cars. Tried it already...ended up going with a borla 60608 resonated x pipe. And yes there is some small gains deleting the afm valve section before the crush section. The crush section has shown to not be restrictive until making a lot of power.
