If its a few away, because the signal is going through so many walls, it may not be that strong, depends on the strength of the signal from the router....but I would try resetting the router first, see if that helps....use the reset button first and if that doesnt work...Unplug it for about 30sec or so, then plug it back in....it may reset your router to how it came though, thats the only problem....
