IronX is some NASTY stuff, but I would also highly second using that as your car sat so long.
The clay process can scratch the surface, and most people get it done prior to a polish/wax/seal etc.
It isnt always a big deal, just a heads up. I decontaminated and clayed my own car, and hit it with a dual action polisher afterwards and it was factory perfect again.

using proper lubrication and a good clay wont scratch. When I got my car last month, I clayed it with ONR mixed to around 64:1 used it very heavy and this is the caly towel I use. I had zero marring on my paint after. Now thats not to say a heavy contaminated car wont scratch if you are not cleaning the clay towel off in a bucket after every panel. I do that anyway. I clean the towel in a bucket of ONR after every section I do.
