The second year I owned my ZL1, the AC stopped blowing cold. 1 year after I bought it.

Took it to the dealership and they said there was no freon left in the system. They found a seal (I don't remember which one) had been incorrectly installed from the factory, and over the course of a year, all of the freon leaked out.

They replaced the seal and recharged the system. That was 3 years ago and my car still blows ice cold.

So, yeah, take it to the dealership
