I agree 100% and hate AFM as much as I’d hate auto start stop. I think the $ could have been spent elsewhere, but what do I know?
Get your cars and see what you think. Maybe you won’t notice the transition between 4 and 8 cylinders. I only say that as some people aren’t all that tuned into the inner working of their cars (noises, odd shifting, mild vibration etc). The transition is pretty subtle, but for some of us too much to ignore.
