I would never buy a car like that sight unseen. The online car retailers may be good for a car one is trying to get rid of. The only way I would even consider buying a car like that would be if I needed the car right away, if I did not care about the condition of the car, and I'd unload the car in the near future. You can hide a lot between an online retailer and farfax (believe me I've seen it more than once. Cars with obvious collision work with no mention of it on the fax).
