CAMARO6 - View Single Post - Top corner of rear bumper not flush to fender

Thought I would share my experience with my 2023 1ss car so maybe it will help someone else.

Picked up my car and noticed that the passenger side rear corner of the lower rear bumper facia was not flush to the fender. This was the corner right below the tail light. I found this thread and thought maybe it was just heat but had a feeling something more was going on because I couldn't physically just push the bumper into place.

So I ended up taking the bumper cover off last night and found that the rear most plastic tab on the passenger side of the bumper cover was underneath the hook on the body, instead of on top where it should be. It appeared the factory just didn't see it was in the wrong place and pushed all the other tabs in leaving that part sticking out because the tab couldn't go in any further.

Just in case anyone else has this issue, the bumper still fit with just about 1/8 inch gap so it was hard to see what was going on.
