I'm also curious about the tuning involved. I would think it would be similar to meth, but never tuned that either... changing the MAF scale (again I would think) would mess with the engines perceived airflow intake (lbs/min)... to my very novice understanding it seems like it would be a nightmare for this system

You would need to "fool" the ECU into thinking it's ingesting less air so it doesn't provide as much fuel. (via the DI system).
