But just to clarify...The kong Maggie or Eddie likely is not ported to the degree of a X port stock blower. Some have reported race ported stock blowers flexing. Hence why I said a mild port and clean up on these larger blowers likely is not an issue. I was only speculating why the Manufacturer doesn't clean up the casting flash and what not. Perhaps they don't feel the potential gains are worth the extra time and effort before packaging them up...dunno.

I agree edelbrock was more satisfied with a reliable blower that made okay power at 1st then Nick Purciello who was at edelbrock now at whipple brought some exciting things such as the port injection and was working on some other things i had talked to him about offering a ported option but hes gone and now you got this old timer w cheese(a boring chili's hamburger) I like to add that when talking about old people lmao named David Page who's into old crap nothing modern and even though he's over the supercharger division (took nicks place) he hasn't posted 1 damn thing about a blower, blower performance, blower car time slips, nada zilch. Doesn't someone monitor him?
Edelbrock has cnc machines and there big enough to do the research with flow meter benches makes no sense why they don't capitalize on porting or clean them up to a degree.
