Thanks.. only problems I've seen is a pesky oil leak on the SS this would be the 3rd time doing the LS3 crank seal even with the MM can that vents. Last week I went to do the diff fluid and the output are loose I guess the bearings have a lot of play I picked up a new diff for 1100 shipped. I was gonna rebuild it since I have similar boxes on our deck mower but 1100 seemed fair since new was 1800.00
I figured something was up because I change the fluid every 10k miles on both cars my zl1 has been like new coming out and the SS has always been dirty. Same at work all the boxes are clean during service at work no problems but the dirty ones seem to have problems down the line.
