Laugh at me all you want, but I'm a chicken and don't want torque to keep climbing fast throughout and beyond the middle of the rev range, hence my choice of a PD supercharger. This way I know that once the tires hook, I will certainly have traction for the rest of the pull or pass (well, okay, I might lose it for a very short while during low gear shifts, but you get the point).
