I'm not complaining about the stock throw and I have no problem with it. The install is no more or less involved than other stuff you and I have done to our cars. And as I stated above, it is pretty cool looking. One guy stated that he thought there might already be a GM flavor performance shifter already installed. If this is what GM calls a "performance shifter", it leaves some to be desired. This shifter claims a 40% reduction in throw. Doesn't that sound even just a little enticing?
That’s just my opinion. The stock shifter is so good (to me) that I won’t drop the trans just to replace it. As I mentioned, if I’m pulling the trans already for a clutch then I’d think about it.
