The sales of the Camaro on it's own will never justify it having it's own platform. Alpha, and now Alpha2 (which underpins the current Cadillac CT4 and CT5) is the only appropriate platform for the Camaro...is it not? I can't think of any others.
GM has already stated the current CT4 and CT5 will be the last of their kind before they go completely electric.
I don't see a way forward for Camaro, unless it goes full EV.
