One of my side skirts got chunk taken out of it and I want to remove it for the repair. I plan to repaint the mosaic black and put plenty of clear on it. The factory clear is very thin.

Does anyone have a good source for how to get it off without scratching the car or the red on the panel? I wish I had a part that was off so I could look at.

Last time I took a Camaro SS to the body shop it magically got an extra 15 miles on it. Who knows what they did. Not doing that with a new ZL1 with 231 miles. My luck some service guy would put it in a ditch or on a pole. I waited long enough for this one.

By the way, PPG high solid clears are hard to get right now.
