Personally i'd like to see a mixture of wind/solar/nuclear/hydro to provide our energy needs. The idea of digging up rocks(coal) out of the ground, transporting it around the country or world and then burning it for energy is just so archaic and wasteful. I bought my Camaro knowing it will most likely be my last ICE vehicle, and i'll keep it forever if possible. But i'm not opposed to electric vehicles, i wouldn't want to be an early adopter right now, but in 5-10 years as they are in a 2nd or 3rd generation and the tech is fully developed I see them being superior to ICE cars in almost every aspect aside from driving engagement, dynamics, and involvement.

Cold weather? They will probably be fine in TX. How will they work at -40F in the Winter. We will see.
