...AND with the possibility of some undulation in the pavement for that short stretch? Which you would not have known about since you hadn't been in the lane until you hopped over. Am certainly no suspension pro but find it unlikely that you had any sort of component failure that raised its ugly head, *just* that one time, but neither before nor since.
