Funny enough, for me the issue with TrackArmour was that it peeled off a bit on my 1800-mile drive back home from the dealer, and as dirt stuck to the piece it ended up slightly scratching the paint as it was flapping a lot with the wind

I realize it may totally have been due to user error but my point is more that, if anything, I had issues with it remaining on the car, I didn’t have any issue with glue residue once I took it off.

Edit: Oh, and in my case I don’t believe temperatures ever went above 60 if I remember well. But if you’ll be racing in 100-degree weather, then maybe glue residue might be an issue… but I’m just guessing here.
