I agonized over the LT1 w/ RS vs 1SS for several weeks. I did a series of large print-outs with side-by-side renderings, I researched resale values, and I downloaded electrical info from ACDelcoTDS for both. The cost difference (due to RS package on the LT1) was under $2k while the resale difference was over $5k, so it seemed like the better buy (not that I plan on selling ever).

All of the performance upgrades for the 1SS seemed like such a good deal for the small price bump. I kind of liked the LT1/RS aesthetic more and the aggressive nose on the SS had to grow on me. I was trying to keep the OTD under $50k (with taxes, delivery, fees, etc.) I liked the idea of a 2SS for the tech but i'm also happy I don't have constraint items either.
