OP here. Thank you all for the input. And you weren’t kidding. This topic does create a ship storm. WOW!

I can say as a road racer, even with just 3-5 weekends a year, and the car being a weekend hoonigan fun car, the ZLE is my pic. Beyond the wing, I have convinced myself the suspension is what Chevy really did the best. It’s what really separates the two. And I thought the ZLE was wider? No? There is more nostalgia with the ZLE too.

That said, I find myself very impressed how the new non 1LE ZL1’s look. They scream “teenagers can’t afford me” and they really do look like a $80,000 car. I love the magnaride, but it’s not the technology Chevy went far and above on with the ZLE suspension. Could I be happy in the non 1LE ZL1 at track on sticky tires? Hell, yes. Would I wish I had the ZLE at the track? Hell yes. Would I wish I had the magnaride on the street the other 90% of the time? Hell yes. Geees, you guys were no help after all. Just kidding.

Guess I won’t even ask about the Z06 vs ZLE then. Ha!
