That's a quick fix but with the ZLE there is no need on the road course unless you are a REALLY good driver.
For the OP... I've owned both (all 3 if you count 5th Gen) and also had both Auto and manual.
I too am 100% track focused with my car and my advice is if you favor the drag strip stick to the ZL1. If you favor the road track then go ZLE. There is a big difference between the two. I've always tried to find that middle ground and it just isn't there. You can do one or the other extremely well but not both.
