Got me thinking, hitting a sharp bump in the road will definitely be worse at higher speeds, but a pothole? I guess it depends on the length of the pothole, but wouldn't higher speed mean that your tire is passing over the pothole in less time, therefore the tire has less time to drop into it, minimizing the impact on the opposite side?
I remember my worst highway pothole collisions were not at higher speeds, but somewhere between 30 and 50 mph. Or am I just imagining this?
