If there is any chance you will be sitting around regretting not having that V8 then I'd wait. I've had mostly small block cars my entire adult life until I went out in 2013 and bought a new Charger SXT Plus Rallye. It had every option but had a 3.6. It was a great car and fun to drive but I spent 8 years throwing every bolt on I could find at it plus every hot rod trick I could think of just to squeeze everything out of it. In the end it was just not the same and I knew I needed something with an 8.
