If those are 17/18’s I personally could not swallow paying that much for one of them. Prepandemic those same cars were 47.5-55k and you could negotiate down further. They were also 2 years newer than they are now. I know the market is different but I believe it will come down. EVERY enthusiast board believes their cars won’t go down due to rareness but no camaro SS/zl1 is what I would call truly rare as thousands are produced each year. My argument to people who think their cars are special and won’t go down is a cars like Toyota Camrys have appreciated as well so if both regular cars are up and sports cars, than I believe both will go back down accordingly once supply catches up. While enthusiast cars are disappearing, there are also some exciting new ones coming out as well. They aren’t extinct YET. It will be some time before they start to appreciate due to rarity.

I don’t have a crystal ball but my prediction this whole time was late 2023 prices will be back down however they will be adjusted for inflation. Still will be way cheaper than buying a used car today.
