Had a B&M shift kit on a TH350 on an older car with a ratchet shifter and that thing would insta-shift when requested. Spool valves and direct hydraulic action, lol. I don't like all the drive by wire stuff. I get why manufacturers do it, but I can really feel the disconnection.

I don't have to manually shift in manual mode. It's tuned to hold gear and still shift on it's own @ WOT.
