It's at the limits of this wheel tire combo for launches. I was actually able to 60ft a little better(1.75) on the bigger pulley(3.375). It wants to break loose as it rolls out even from second gear, but it still is a little quicker and higher trap with the 3.25 pulley.
I am curious to see what it gains this fall since I upgraded injectors. Back to E60 vs E40 and another degree of timing. Log data shows it's making more power. Probably will just spin more but oh well.

Nice. I can still blitz the tires in a 2nd gear launch too with the converter. NT555R2s have been ordered. I've found starting in 2nd and manually shifting the A8 and hitting proper shift points to be difficult because of how laggy the A8 is. I have to "request" the shift really early, because it will execute the shift a half second later.
Had a B&M shift kit on a TH350 on an older car with a ratchet shifter and that thing would insta-shift when requested. Spool valves and direct hydraulic action, lol. I don't like all the drive by wire stuff. I get why manufacturers do it, but I can really feel the disconnection.
