Ductwork should be insulated so that condensation doesn't happen. Condensation on ductwork is the perfect place for mold to grow as it tends to be dark as well.

It's a shame that chevy seems to be choosing not to spend the extra couple bucks to insulate these things properly but instead spends those dollars on forcing needless crap like onstar and power seats that dont recline. Meh.

Worked on Jags, Hyundai, Nissan/Inifiniti, GM, etc, duct work in cars isn't insulated.
