I don't understand why some people get so uptight about taking there stuff to the dealership. Mistakes happen. Nothing is irreparable! Ive had my ZL1 at the dealership for a routine oil change and they scraped the splitter driving onto the ramp. I probably would have never have seen it until it was too late. But they came out and told me about the damage and bought me a new splitter. My reaction was "no big deal you will make it right". the guy thanked me and stated he was worried because most people freak out over this stuff. Im like why? There is way more important things in this world to stress about. again. Nothing is irreparable. Worse case scenario they total the car and you replace it with a new one at there cost. Walk the vehicle before and after with the service advisor and you will be fine.
