Availability and price were the reason for the LT1 here.
Replacing a few items that wear out fast anyway isn't such a big deal.
After the proper rated tires are installed the speed limiter will be dealt with.

I’m just regurgitating information I’ve picked up here…unfortunately, for those that want to upgrade the rear brakes on the LT1. It isn't plug and play like it would be on and SS. The entire rear brake set up is different….
