I'm not surprised your car is fast, it's all the same underneath. I like straight line speed as much as taking corners fast, which means I'll need a proper tire set up. I'll either have to get that from the factory or in the aftermarket. Either way isn't cheap. One of the first things I'm going to do once the car is broken in is take it for some spirited mountain runs.

No doubt that the LT1 makes the most financial sense to me.
The 1LE cars rear suspension is hung with solid bushings everywhere, and does get old when driven on the street regularly. The Lt1 has the base SS suspension and front brakes. Even the front tire size is the same as a SS, add a full set of michelin pilot 4s to the LT1 and you should be in for a nice spirited drive.
