Perhaps so. But the SC3 has considerably higher grip level, does it not? If you are talking tires for DD, then I'm totally aligned with the PS4S or ECS approach (no need for a stickier tire because you can't really use it on the road).
But on the track, that's a different matter. I was under the impression that for a track tire, the grip and longevity for the SC3 vs alternatives is pretty impressive. Certainly better overall than a CUP2
