The prices of cars have gone up more in the last 3 years then they have in the last 30 its all gonna break it has too. It wont be long and cars will once again like in the 20s only be for the upper class rich cause they are the only ones who can afford them. I got a lotus emira coming and thats gonna be my last "fun" car. I got better things to do with my money then just throwing it out a window on cars. plus what are they thinking? lets go ahead and mark up a car thats a poor seller and being canceled 4K... Those 300 guys in the entire country that still want one are getting screwed.
The whole thing with cars now just makes me sad. maybe the whole thing will crash and cars will go back to normal prices and I can decide to have a fun car again. just because you can afford something doesn't mean you should buy it. over paying for something is just throwing money away. I for one worked to hard for my money to do that.

It is frustrating for sure but the current supply and demand situation is what dictates the market price. From what I see they are basically looking at a 5-6% MSRP increase across the models? Even companies like Tesla that sell direct have seen huge increases over the past year or so. I was surprised the MSRP price did not increase for 2022. Essentially 2021/2022 normalized MSRP pricing, 2023 is getting the increase. They just can't build that many of them right now.
Remember, when we could buy these Camaros for 20% off? I don't think that really ever happens again since there is no supply and the Camaro program is being sunset.
