Having owned and raced a 370Z, I wouldn't touch it.
The power increase is nice and all over the VQ37 (which was freaking GUTLESS for what it was).
The lines look fine, rear end is a nice homage, but the front end appears to be a boring mess, to me.
Most importantly, Nissan I found to be a royal pain in the arse when it came to doing anything that involved actually racing the car. The 370Z's brakes - INCLUDING the Nismo -
were absolute trash. Like, you might get 1 decent hot lap in if you have some skill, and then it turned into a skating rink. I suspect the new one will be just as awful.
In the end it just came off as a really fat 2-seater car (>3400 lbs for that was pretty abysmal) with almost zero practicality and it was worse in every performance regard than my nearly bone-stock 2002 Z06.
Compared to an LT1 coupe, it's just a no-brainer to me.
