I installed the Corsa NPP and X-pipe on my car and there are a ton of pops/crackles on decel. I love the exhaust even with the secondary's in place. I miss the old days too, but honestly the only part that bothers me is having to cut the stock exhaust.

Luckily I was able to source PLP on temporary basis. Have to find a permanent solution with in few months. If not, I'm Planning to do the same thing as yours.
