You don't need brake cooling ducts on a ZLE, I drive mine hard on CA tracks in 95+ degree weather and the brakes with only stock pads and DOT 4 (Castrol SRF or Brembo Racing) are one of the most capable features of this car. In ~25 track days they have never faded, I did upgrade to SS brake lines I recommend this but not needed for your first days.

Thanks for this. Having cooked the brakes on my previous car i was a bit concerned, but then again my other did not have the massive air intakes for the brakes the 1LE has. Im just gonna swap the brake fluid and change the oil to the 15W30 since i do have the sticky ass tires.
