It just doesn't make any sense. What was the end goal? If there was a trailer somewhere and they had planned to get the cars to the trailer, load them in, and then be off with them then that is one thing. But even then what would they do? Strip the cars and sell the parts? I mean these guys were smart enough to develop and execute a well thought out plan and escape with hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of vehicles to do what? Joyride them? Run from the cops, get caught, and then go to prison for the rest of their lives?
And again, with OnStar, how were the cars not shut down? Last I checked OnStar could send a signal and disable a vehicle. These vehicles were fully operational, had all fluids in them and were ready to hit the road but OS was not activated?
