It also seems to me that unless a person really wants to say they got another 10-WHP from the X-port, it's almost just chasing dyno numbers. You can get more or less power just by changing the way you strap a car on the dyno, for example. You can loose dozens just by heat soak runs.
Don't get me wrong - I'd want to squeak as much as reasonable from my build. I wouldn't suggest there isn't a better way to spend my money, but that's just my OCD and wiring.
I was in a similar situation when I started thinking about what I wanted to do. The X-port wasn't available yet, but the cooling is what pushed me. Do I benefit from all the theoretical cooling it has (I say theoretical, but I see it in my logs - I just never compared to stock)? Nope. BUT - I'm getting all the power I need and know I'm not stressing anything except the rear tires, lol. That - and I couldn't get to this power without doing it this way.
