I find that Easy Exit greatly reduces how much you have to open the door to get out.
That said, I tend to be a bit selective on which car I park beside, provided that I have to park beside someone since other people can open their door into you. I remember going to the gym once and right as I engaged the handbrake, a
very rusty truck started parking beside me... And yeah, I pulled out of the spot to park at another spot. It is a bit of a rude assumption, but I doubt someone with such a rusty vehicle actually has any concern with any car.
