Another thing worth considering when going with a ZLE is the fact that the very soft tire compound and tires sticking-out kick
a lot of little rocks all over the side panels.
Of course, a tire that's not as soft as the SC3Rs will help some, and yes rock guards will help a lot (I got the ZL1 add-ons ones), but I noticed recently that the lower panel between rear wheels and the doors already have a fair bit of rock chips, with less than 3200 miles on the car
Unless your ZLE is meant 100% for the track and/or you don't care for rock chips at all, the ZLE will require that you cover some of those areas with PPF.
I just bought 3'x3' of Ultimate Plus 10 Xpel, and will be installing it myself at home. I've never done that, so I'm a bit nervous, but the area is thankfully fairly flat (at least compared to the front which is very sculpted!). Professional installers sure make it look easy on Youtube
If install results are decent, I'll consider covering more of the car by myself.
