Yep, I've taken my 1LE to the track a total of 7 days now, no issues at all with brakes. I believe some people have gone out of their way to install the "large" deflector. You can probably search here in the forums. I honestly doubt it makes much of a difference.
If you have the time and tools go ahead and take the front wheel off and take a look at the air duct/deflector that come with the car. You can see the car already comes with a small heat shield to allow the rotors to cool off, car also already has a deflector to get air to the rotors.
